At our Moral Monday in Memphis yesterday, I was reminded of something we learned from the Rev. Jim Lawson, who invited Dr. King to Memphis in 1968: mass rallies are for mass education.
We rallied yesterday in communities across the South to educate communities about what is coming because of the Big, Ugly Bill that just passed Congress. I’m glad to share my message with you here on Substack. Please help us share it as we use this space as a “freedom school” for popular education.
