Ida B. Wells didn’t wait for permission to speak sacred truth to profane power—and neither should we. These caskets aren’t props, they’re prophecy. They hold the weight of policies made by men who cosplay as pro-life while legislating death. What y’all did in Memphis and across the South isn’t just protest—it’s liturgy. It’s the gospel of resistance with blistered feet and no patience for political pageantry.
Thank you for dragging morality out of the pulpit and into the street, where it belongs. Like the Black Madonna with a bullhorn and a casket, you're reminding the empire that we bury the dead—but we don’t bury the truth.
My heart is full of gratitude for this movement. I continue to believe that, in spite of all the ugliness, love will win. We must all demonstrate our love in the variety of ways we can!
The chaos unleashed is by design. Read today's story in The Atlantic by Hana Kiros about the approaching deadline of a devilish order to incinerate tons of food supplements for the malnourished and starving. Read her previous one on Plump'Nut. They are forcing a separation that once clearly was called Class. People will connect immediately with the similarities in the ideology behind it, the cuts to Medicaid and SNAP (cuts that will not feed children in programs that are of the state while impoverishing parents and beneficiaries of said programs by usurping healthcare, instead of good government that monitors such programs) and the vision of poverty, malnutrition and starvation in the world that demands an ethical presence from the advanced and civilized world that we know of. Plump'Nut costs peanuts. Their devious and deadly trick is the clear disconnected messaging which would "seem" to be incompetence, the flip-flopping of "parts" of a system like USAID. It is planned that way and, especially, when there are people like Marco Rubio operating behind the scenes who knows that food can not be moved when there is no connection from the source to its delivery to the hungry children. So do all the Republicans who voted for The Bill (the younger and future generations will pay for it) know that cuts to Medicaid and SNAP end up being a cost to the citizens at large and the forced condition that makes ordinary citizens participants of the disease and deaths of others ahead. Never before has the word "other" been codified so brutally.
I am heartened by the increased coverage of your Moral Monday actions.
Thank you for your powerful work.
Thank you Bishop Barber for the wonderful work you are doing to save and heal our democracy from the fascist tyrants!
We are with you in resisting the cruel MAGA policies.

Make sure you send a coffin to Senator Ernst
We must not waver in well-doing or shining the light on darkness. I commend the work that you are doing.
Totally agree with you! Cathie and Robert, Montreal, and attending on-line church at St. Bart's, NYC!
When I tried to upgrade to a paid membership, my card was “declined” even though there is no problem with it as per a call to the company.
I’d like to participate in NC
Forward together, not one step back!
