Mercy should be given to all people of the United States 🇺🇸. The poor people’s campaign does this with a lot of hard work and passion. Prayer is even given to all Americans even our allies across the pond.
Well then, the real fight must begin. They have been crossing the line for quite some time now, to the point where our leaders have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. Who’s going to be the first to start this battle? I’ve tried reaching out to Ecumenical Ministries but they’re too focused on budget cuts and playing the role of a victim. Nor have they shown interest it listening to my advice in joining your alliance. After struggling against this incompetence for decades, I’m at my wits end, not to mention being broke …
I understand that fighting is not something a Baptist minister like William Barber would be advocating for, but at the very least he might want to stand his ground in telling folks not to pay their taxes anymore … until we have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Thank you and your movement for doing the Lord's work. You are one of the greats of this era, Reverend Barber, and your witness and example offer healing and hope.
Despite my 100% permanent disability, and high levels of chronic pain, I am sole caretaker for my 93-year-old mother in hospice care. As such, I am deeply grateful for those participating while I cannot.

But if it fails to materialize, then I believe an even greater miracle awaits us… the miracle of the rebirth of the promise of the American Experiment. For of that experiment in its current form shall die, then I foresee a rebirth of that experiment - much as Abraham Lincoln saw happening - led by not just religious leaders but ordinary people such as myself (a humble member of the United Methodist Church here in Stroud, Oklahoma).
This rebirth will leave all who worship wealth and power (including Democrats tied to Wall Street rather than to We the People) in the ash heap of history. It will be a people-led rebirth founder on win-win principles… love and cooperation rather than hate and division!
